Biography

Louis-Emmanuel Meyer is a priest of the Jean-Marie Vianney Society, an association of clerics for the support of the diocesan priesthood. In this capacity, he has been exercising the ministry of confession for 10 years, first in Burgundy then in Calais. He is now a trainer at the international seminary of Ars (Ain) where he teaches canon law and theology, while ensuring the direction of philosophical studies and spiritual accompaniment of seminarians in this village where Saint John Mary lived in the 19th century. Vianney renowned for his charisma as a confessor. He is a doctor of canon law (Catholic Institute of Paris, 2023). He serves as a canonical judge at the ecclesiastical court of Lyon and teaches canon law at the Studium of this city. He also assumes the functions of Chancellor (equivalent to legal manager) of his clerical association.
